With A Relationship Breakup
Coping with a relationship breakup is a hard thing to
do. Getting over the lose of a once great relationship, can leave you upset and lonely. There is
some good news though. There are ways in which you can make getting over a breakup easier and less
painful.
First, you need to cut off all contact with your ex. This may
be difficult and you may miss them, but this needs to be done in order to make coping easier. You may hope
that they will want you back if you stick around and that if you leave they will think that you do not care,
but this is not true.
The truth is that if they are over you, then
they will not care if you want them back or not, because they will move on when
they are ready and will not wait for you to be ready for it. So in reality, the no communication will not
make a difference to them, but it will help you to find a way to move on in your own
time.
After you feel better about the breakup and you are not
thinking of them as much, you might be able to talk to them again. This may be to give them a proper
'Goodbye' or to possibly get back together, but for now you need to cut them out
of your life completely.
Next, you should spend time on yourself. If
you have any hobbies or activities that you like doing, you should go do them. This will help get your mind
off of your ex and you can start enjoying yourself once again. You could even just spend some time with your
friends and family. Sometimes you just need people to talk to in order for you to realize how dumb your ex
was and how you do not need them in your life to be happy and have a good time.
Maybe while shopping with your friends, you could get a new outfit and get your hair done, or just
go away on a road trip. Nothing says 'I'm over you.' like a trip to the beach
with some friends. Most of all, you need your individuality back. You need to learn how to be apart from them
again, since they took up so much of your life before. This will not only help you feel better, but people will see
that you are fun and have a lot to offer.
Coping with a relationship breakup is difficult, but with a
little help, you can get through the loss with less pain and more fun. Remember that it is all about you in
the present and the future, not what used to be.
